lyrics

Is history a book of heroes and cowards names? Where do I fit in in this never ending game? Am I a Running Dog? Chasing Liberty? Or am I just chasing cars that whizz by in the street? A nagging voice says I’m just stalling. Not even listening to the millions calling. If I could change this place but not stay so comfortable would I get up and leave? Good intention pavement street.
Is history a book of comedy or tragedy? Is resistance any more than futile poetry? Am I a Running Dog? Fighting Misery? Or am I just killing time that’s slowly killing me? A nagging voice says I’m just stalling. Not even listening to the millions calling. If I could change this place but not stay so comfortable would I get up and leave? Good intention pavement street.
I think that I might hit snooze. The world seems way too dark today. I swear I’d love to help you but these blankets are in my way.
